ABSTRACT Angiotensin II (AngII) receptor blockers (ARBs) are medications that lower systolic blood pressure (BP) by antagonizing the AngII type 1 receptor (AT1). However, ARBs have documented or suspected therapeutic properties in diseases not caused by high BP including diabetes, muscular dystrophy, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) and ...

Network medicine and systems pharmacology approaches to predicting adverse drug effects
Identifying and understanding the relationships between drug intake and adverse effects that can occur due to inadvertent molecular interactions between drugs and targets is a difficult task, especially considering the numerous variables that can influence the onset of such events.

Multi‐View Biomedical Foundation Models for Molecule‐Target and Property Prediction
Molecular foundation models can provide accurate predictions for a large set of downstream tasks. We develop MMELON, an approach that integrates pre‐trained graph, image, and text foundation models and validate our multi‐view model on over 120 tasks, including GPCR binding.

Vaginal Ulcers Secondary to Stage Iv Uterine Prolapse Treated With L‐PRF
ABSTRACT Pelvic organs prolapse (POP) is usually used to describe the pelvic organs' descent into or through the vagina. The related common complications are bleeding, extrusion, vaginal discharge, pain, and constipation; only older women and those with comorbidities seem to be most prone to persist with their use.

A Case of Intermittent Fever a Decade After Renal Transplantation
ABSTRACT Disseminated histoplasmosis is a potentially serious complication after organ transplantation; however, its occurrence is rare, even in endemic regions. Diagnosis can be challenging, particularly in patients with nonspecific symptoms such as intermittent fever or lethargy.
