Identification and characterisation of lumpy skin disease virus recently isolated from Giza, Egypt (2018)

open access: yesBulgarian Journal of Veterinary Medicine, 2023
Lumpy skin disease (LSD) is a viral disease, geographically distributed in Africa and now, vigorously spread in the Near East and also in Europe and Asia. It has a significant economic impact on cattle industry in Africa.

Bayesian least squares deconvolution

open access: yes, 2015
Aims. To develop a fully Bayesian least squares deconvolution (LSD) that can be applied to the reliable detection of magnetic signals in noise-limited stellar spectropolarimetric observations using multiline techniques. Methods. We consider LSD under the

A note on a Mar\v{c}enko-Pastur type theorem for time series [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In this note we develop an extension of the Mar\v{c}enko-Pastur theorem to time series model with temporal correlations. The limiting spectral distribution (LSD) of the sample covariance matrix is characterised by an explicit equation for its Stieltjes ...

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.
