Safety of Potassium-Competitive Acid Blockers Compared With Proton Pump Inhibitors in Patients With Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease and Peptic Ulcer Disease: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Background and Aim Potassium‐competitive acid blockers (P‐CABs) are a novel class of acid suppressants developed to overcome the limitations of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), providing rapid and sustained acid suppression. While PPI‐related adverse events (AEs) are well‐documented, safety data on P‐CABs remain limited.

Human herpesvirus-associated transposable element activation in human aging brains with Alzheimer's disease. [PDF]
Abstract INTRODUCTION Human herpesvirus (HHV) has been linked to Alzheimer's disease (AD), but the underlying mechanisms remain unknown. METHODS We leveraged functional genomics data from Religious Orders Study or the Rush Memory and Aging Project (ROS/MAP) and Mount Sinai Brain Bank (MSBB) brain biobanks and single‐cell RNA‐sequencing data from HHV ...

The use of Rate‐All‐That‐Apply (RATA) with naïve consumers is suitable to evaluate texture properties in complex food products. Both panels showed an overall similar discrimination between samples. Experts showed a better discrimination on particles size and level of hardness whereas consumers showed a better discrimination based on “smoothness” and ...

Directly take the matrix data as inputs; use the low‐rank representation with non‐negative constraint to capture the globality and more discriminative information; employ a graph matrix learning model based on the non‐negative low‐rank representation coefficients to reveal the local manifold structure of data. Abstract The sparse matrix regression (SMR)

In this phase 3, double‐blind, multi‐centre study, patients with endoscopically confirmed healederosive oesophagitis were randomised 1:1 to receive tegoprazan 25 mg or lansoprazole 15 mg once daily for up to 24 weeks. The endoscopic remission rate after 24 weeks was 90.6% for the tegoprazan group and 89.5% for the lansoprazole group.

Model‐based systems engineering for a small‐lift launch facility
Abstract A study of model‐based systems engineering (MBSE) applied to a small‐lift launch facility is presented. The research uses Systems Modeling Language (SysML) products and functional diagrams to document the ground systems on a launch pad servicing a small class payload (0–2 tons). With the projected growth in launch cadence of small‐lift rockets

Non-convex regularization in remote sensing [PDF]
In this paper, we study the effect of different regularizers and their implications in high dimensional image classification and sparse linear unmixing. Although kernelization or sparse methods are globally accepted solutions for processing data in high ...
