Bispecific Ligand‐Based EphB4 CAR‐T Cells Generated Using Ephrin‐B2 Show Potent Antitumor Activity Against Lung Adenocarcinoma

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
EphB4 and EphA2 positivity in lung adenocarcinoma samples was high. Ligand‐based EphB4 CAR‐T cells exhibit bispecificity, targeting both EphB4 and EphA2. EphB4 CAR‐T cells exert significant antitumor effects against lung adenocarcinoma. ABSTRACT Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)‐T cells generated using ephrin‐B2, the natural ligand for ephrin type‐B ...

Decreased Expression of FAT4 Promotes Multiple Myeloma Proliferation and Migration by Targeting the Hippo/YAP Pathway

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
This study provides the first comprehensive characterization of the functional impact, and mechanistic role of FAT4 in MM. Our findings highlight the tumor‐suppressive role of FAT4 in MM and uncover a novel mechanism by which FAT4 regulates the Hippo/YAP pathway.

AMSC‐sEVs Ameliorated Crohn's Disease by Inhibiting Macrophage‐Myofibroblast Transition Through the Delivery of MFGE8

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
Our study demonstrated that TGF‐β1 activated MAPK signalling pathway and promoted the MMT and secretion of CCL17 under CD‐associated intestinal inflammatory conditions. AMSC‐sEVs can deliver MFGE8, which inhibits MMT and CCL17‐mediated Treg recruitment by suppressing the MAPK signalling pathway, thereby alleviating intestinal fibrosis.

Problem areas in the use of the firefly luciferase assay for bacterial detection [PDF]

open access: yes
By purifying the firefly luciferase extract and adding all necessary chemicals but ATP in excess, an assay for ATP was performed by measuring the amount of light produced when a sample containing soluble ATP is added to the luciferase reaction mixture ...

Spatiotemporal dynamics of β‐arrestin‐mediated Src activation in 5‐HT7 receptor signaling pathway

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
GPCRs induce distinct cellular responses via G protein‐ or β‐arrestin‐mediated signaling pathways. This study revealed that β‐arrestin‐biased 5‐HT7R ligand induces slow, sustained Src activation, contrasting with transient G protein‐mediated activation.

The HaMYB22–HaGST3.2 module mediates salt stress response in sunflower

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Plant Biology, EarlyView.
The transcription factors HaMYB22, HaMYB120, and HaMYB121 cooperatively activate the transcription of the glutathione S‐transferase gene HaGST3.2, thereby facilitating the removal of reactive oxygen species induced by salt stress in sunflowers and improving their salt tolerance.
