Targeting the EpCAM‐AXL axis to overcome drug resistance in lung cancer
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Lung cancer cells often evade therapy by hijacking signaling pathways. We reveal that cleaved EpCAM (sEpCAM) stabilizes the oncogenic protein AXL, driving NF‐κB and STAT3‐mediated chemoresistance. This EpCAM‐AXL axis identifies a high‐risk patient subset with poor prognosis.

Tumour‐proximal deep serum proteomics identifies biomarkers associated with ovarian cancer
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.New biomarkers are needed for early ovarian cancer detection. Ovarian (tumour‐proximal) and peripheral vein serum from healthy women and patients with benign or malignant tumours underwent nanoparticle‐enriched deep proteomics. Ovarian serum yielded more protein identifications and revealed tumour‐reflective signatures.

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.This mixed‐methods study explored cancer patients' experiences, knowledge, and preferences regarding ctDNA‐based liquid biopsy for follow‐up. Awareness of ctDNA was low and recall of previous liquid biopsy was imperfect, yet acceptance was high.

Vascular normalization confers an endothelial immune suppressive gene expression profile
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.We compare the immunoregulatory gene expression profiles of healthy endothelial cells or endothelial cells from tumors having a normalized endothelium (low leakage) with that of wild‐type tumors (high leakage) and observe that the wild‐type tumor endothelium exhibits immunostimulatory properties.
