Fine Structure of Lymphatics in the Myocardium [PDF]
Myocardium contains a loose network of lymphatics. The wall of cardiac lymphatics consistsof a flat endothelium without a continuous basal membrane. In the normal heart, lymphaticendothelium shows an extensive folding.

Cardiac Lymphatics in Health and Disease [PDF]
Cardiac lymphatics form a vast plexus of vasculature essential to normal cardiac fluid homeostasis and immune cell clearance. Cardiac lymphangiogenesis contributes to the reparative process post myocardial infarction (MI), but the factors and mechanisms

Tumor-associated blood vessels and lymphatics are abnormal and dysfunctional. These are hallmarks of the tumor microenvironment, which has an immunosuppressive nature, such as through hypoxia. Treatment with anti-death receptor5 (DR5) monoclonal antibody

Nanomaterials offer dual applications in allergy management. For diagnosis, nanomaterials enhance analytical sensitivity and improve detection in specific IgE and functional assays such as the basophil activation test (BAT). For allergen‐specific immunotherapy, nanomaterials enable allergen masking and controlled release, and effectively modulate the ...

The eye–brain neuroimmune axis triggers immune activation and disrupts pathological neuronal connectivity to extend glioblastoma survival. ABSTRACT As an anatomical extension of the central nervous system (CNS), the eye harbors rich neural and immune interfaces with the brain. However, the integrated immunological and neurological nexus between the eye

A nebulized nanoassembly alleviates radiation‐induced lung injury by reprogramming macrophages through coordinated ROS scavenging, NAD+ replenishment, and PPAR‐γ activation. Redox balance, mitochondrial homeostasis, and immune regulation are restored, revealing a microenvironment‐centered strategy for localized radioprotection.

Micromanipulation of pressure in terminal lymphatics in the mesentery [PDF]
The terminal lymphatics are a network of highly previous vessels that are distributed in a loose association with the blood capillary bed, in particular along with the collecting venules.

CALB2 is a Mechanoresistance Gene in Metastatic Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer cell lines of differing origins were cultured over many passages while being subjected to semi‐lethal levels of fluid shear stress, representing the harsh mechanical environment these cells are subjected to in the circulation during the process of distant metastasis.

On the unlocked secrets of the lymphatics and lymphatic circulation
The glory of having discovered the lymphatic vessels belongs undoubtedly to the Italian Gaspare Aselli from Cremona; he established itself as an excellent anatomist and surgeon, also military, in Milan, where the first true description of the lymphatic ...
