Abstract INTRODUCTION Socioeconomic factors influence cognitive outcomes and may modify associations between neuropathologies and cognitive outcomes, yet evidence from low‐ and middle‐income contexts remains scarce. METHODS We used harmonized data from nationally representative studies in the United States (Health and Retirement Study ‐ Harmonized ...

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is characterized by recurrent upper‐airway collapse, which generates key nocturnal stressors including intermittent hypoxia, sleep fragmentation, intrathoracic pressure stress, and sympathetic activation. These physiological disturbances converge on shared biological mechanisms, including oxidative stress, inflammation ...

Figure S6. TCP-like motifs. Logo representation of all matches to the motifs found by MEME. Datasets are from (A) AP1 (motif similar to TCP type II motif); (B) SEP3 (motif similar to TCP type I motif); (C) SEP3 (motif similar to TCP type II motif) and (D) SOC1 (motif similar to TCP type II motif). An Integrated Micromirror System for High‐Throughput Multi‐Parametric Cell Imaging
A sheathless optofluidic platform integrates 3D‐printed micromirrors for simultaneous brightfield and dual‐color fluorescence imaging. Leveraging two‐photon stereolithography for rapid, single‐step fabrication, the system enables high‐content intracellular mapping and translocation analysis at throughputs exceeding 3000 cells per second.

Abstract During the life cycle, a plant undergoes a series of developmental phase changes. The first phase change is the transition from the initial juvenile vegetative stage into the adult vegetative phase. During the juvenile phase plants produce leaves and axillary buds, whereas during the adult phase the initiation of reproductive structures occurs.

Table S7. Top 5 most occurring extensions on the 5′ side and the 3′ side of the CArG-box and the top 5 combinations of 5′ and 3′ extensions. CArG-boxes were defined de novo by MEME-ChIP as described in the Material and Methods section. For each CArG-box like sequence, positions 1 and 10 were defined by comparing the sequence to the canonical CArG-box ...

Red‐to‐Near‐Infrared Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer Reporters for Dual Imaging Applications
Genetically encoded FRET biosensors reveal dynamic signaling in living cells, but overlapping spectra have limited the simultaneous monitoring of multiple pathways. We introduce a red‐to‐near infrared FRET pair, mRuby2/miRFP670nano3, compatible with existing reporters and enabling dual FLIM‐FRET without bleed‐through.

In this thesis we investigated the behaviour of fluorescently-tagged MADS domain proteins during floral development in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana, and explored the importance of intercellular transport via plasmodesmata for MADS domain transcription factor functioning.
