This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Peroxiredoxins are highly conserved and abundant peroxidases. Although the thioredoxin peroxidase activity of peroxiredoxin (Prx) is important to maintain low levels of endogenous hydrogen peroxide, Prx have also been shown to promote hydrogen peroxide-mediated signalling.

Maternal Wnt/β-catenin signaling coactivates transcription through NF-κB binding sites during Xenopus axis formation. [PDF]
Maternal Wnt/β-Catenin signaling establishes a program of dorsal-specific gene expression required for axial patterning in Xenopus. We previously reported that a subset of dorsally expressed genes depends not only on Wnt/β-Catenin stimulation, but also ...

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

OsEL2 Regulates Rice Cold Tolerance by MAPK Signaling Pathway and Ethylene Signaling Pathway
Low temperature stress represents a significant abiotic stress factor affecting rice yields. While the structure and some of the functions of cell cycle protein-dependent protein kinase inhibitor (CKI) family proteins have been the subject of study, their relevance to cold tolerance in rice has been less investigated.

Osteoarthritis (OA), affecting > 500 million people worldwide, profoundly affects the quality of life and ability to work. The mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway plays an essential role in OA. To address the lack of studies focused

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Impact of Polyphenolic Compounds on MAPK Signaling Pathway against Carcinogenesis
The mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway is one of the signaling pathways involved in cellular life. Dysregulation of the MAPK signaling pathway is implicated in the emergence of diverse stages of carcinogenesis, including metastasis, angiogenesis, apoptosis, invasion, proliferation and cell differentiation.

The two-component sensor kinase TcsC and its role in stress resistance of the human-pathogenic mold Aspergillus fumigatus. [PDF]
Two-component signaling systems are widespread in bacteria, but also found in fungi. In this study, we have characterized TcsC, the only Group III two-component sensor kinase of Aspergillus fumigatus. TcsC is required for growth under hyperosmotic stress,
