Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Genome-wide prediction of testcross performance and phenotypic stability for important agronomic and quality traits in elite hybrid rye (Secale cereale L.) [PDF]
Genomic selection offers a greater potential for improving complex, quantitative traits in winter rye than marker-assisted selection. Prediction accuracies for grain yield for unrelated test populations have, however, to be improved.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Marker-assisted selection for sheath blight resistance in rice (Oryza sativa L.)
Sheath blight is one of destructive diseases of rice, causing substantial loss to rice production. Developing resistant cultivars to sheath blight is quite difficult due to lack of effective resistant source in the available germplasm.

Marker‐assisted selection in cattle
Abstract Direct observation of genetic differences using molecular techniques has prompted investigation into the nature and amount of genetic variation in cattle. Utilization of molecular data will include parentage analysis, individual identification, sexing of embryos and clones and detection of genetic defects.

Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition
We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Gombarezisztencia gének térképezése szőlőben = Mapping resistance genes against fungi in grapevine [PDF]
Lisztharmat (PM) és peronoszpóra (DM) rezisztencia génekkel kapcsolt markerek szelekcióra való alkalmasságát vizsgáltuk szőlő inter-és intraspecifikus térképezési populációiban.
