An Exploration of the Mathematics Self-Efficacy/Mathematics Performance Correspondence
Journal for Research in Mathematics Education, 1989This study investigated the relationship between mathematical performance and mathematics self-efficacy, attitudes toward mathematics, and the choice of mathematics-related majors by 153 college women and 109 college men. Mathematics performance was correlated moderately with mathematics self-efficacy. No support was found for Hackett and Betz's (1981)
