Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

Crucial parameters for precise copy number variation detection in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded solid cancer samples

This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.

Schur Multipliers and Matrix Products

We give necessary and sufficient conditions for a Schur map to be a homomorphism, with some generalizations to the infinite-dimensional case. In the finite-dimensional case, we find that a Schur multiplier distributes over matrix multiplication if and only if the Schur matrix has a certain simple form.

Partitioned and Hadamard product matrix inequalities [PDF]

Inequalities relating inversion with, respectively, extraction of principal submatriees and the Hadamard product in the two possible orders are developed in a simple and unified way for positive definite matrices. These inequalities are known, hut we also characterize the cases of equality and strict inequality.
