About Borel type relation for some positive functional series

open access: yesМатематичні Студії
Let $f$ be an entire transcendental function, $(\lambda_n)$ be a non-decreasing to $+\infty$ sequence, $M_f(r)=\max\{|f(z)|\colon |z|=r\}$, and $\Gamma_f(r)/r=(\ln M_f(r))'_+$ be a right derivative, $r>0$.

Using the Maximal Entropy Modeling Approach to Analyze the Evolution of Sedentary Agricultural Societies in Northeast China

open access: yesEntropy, 2020
The emergence of agriculture and the evolution of sedentary societies are among the most important processes in human history. However, although archeologists and social scientists have long been studying these processes, our understanding of them is ...

Cognitive function in patients with stable coronary heart disease: Related cerebrovascular and cardiovascular responses. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2017
Chronic exercise has been shown to prevent or slow age-related decline in cognitive functions in otherwise healthy, asymptomatic individuals. We sought to assess cognitive function in a stable coronary heart disease (CHD) sample and its relationship to ...

The maximal degree of the Khovanov homology of a cable link

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, we study the Khovanov homology of cable links. We first estimate the maximal homological degree term of the Khovanov homology of the ($2k+1$, $(2k+1)n$)-torus link and give a lower bound of its homological thickness.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Asymptotic Behavior of the $T^3 \times R$ Gowdy Spacetimes

open access: yes, 1992
We present new evidence in support of the Penrose's strong cosmic censorship conjecture in the class of Gowdy spacetimes with $T^3$ spatial topology.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

On some properties of the maximal term of series in systems of functions

open access: yesМатематичні Студії
For an entire transcendental function $f$ and a sequence $(\lambda_n)$ of positive numbers increa\-sing to $+\infty$ a series $A(z)=\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}a_nf(\lambda_n z)$ in the system $\{f(\lambda_nz)\}$ is said to be regularly convergent in ${\mathbb C}

The neural crest‐associated gene ERRFI1 is involved in melanoma progression and resistance toward targeted therapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox
