High‐Resolution Mapping of Discharge Product in Li─O2 Batteries
Li─O2 batteries promise exceptional energy density, but have several factors limiting performance, such as poor rate performance. To understand rate limitations, scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy and X‐ray nano‐computed tomography were employed to map the distribution of discharge products in discharged air ...

The force on a bubble, drop, or particle in arbitrary time-dependent motion at small Reynolds number [PDF]
The hydrodynamic force on a body that undergoes translational acceleration in an unbounded fluid at low Reynolds number is considered. The results extend the prior analysis of Lovalenti and Brady [to appear in J. Fluid Mech.

This study investigates the taxonomic and functional diversity of noctuoid moths in a protected coastal dune system in Central Italy, revealing strong ecological associations between moth assemblages and dune zonation. Differences in species composition and trait attributes, along with the presence of habitat‐exclusive species, highlight the role of ...

HBV reactivation incidence varied across immunosuppressive and chemotherapeutic agents. Clinically meaningful HBV reactivation was also observed in patients receiving corticosteroids and conventional immunosuppressive therapies. ABSTRACT Background Data on the incidence of hepatitis B virus reactivation (HBVr) remain limited. In Japan, patients who are

SGLT2 inhibitor use at discharge was associated with a reduced risk of heart failure readmission in elderly patients with diabetes, with no significant differences among individual agents. ABSTRACT Aims To evaluate the effect of sodium–glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitor (SGLT2i) administration at hospital discharge on heart failure (HF) readmission ...

A monoclonal antibody to ICP4 of MDV recognizing ICP4 of serotype 1 and 3 MDV strains.
Monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) were prepared against ICP4 of Marek's disease virus (MDV). Mice were inoculated with ICP4 obtained from High-Five insect cells infected with a recombinant baculovirus expressing ICP4. MAbs were selected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) using MDV-infected and control chick kidney cells as antigens.

Anatomopathological and molecular studies of Marek´s disease virus in India
In India, increasing incidence of Marek’s Disease Virus (MDV) outbreaks are being reported even in vaccinated poultry farms. Hence identifying the new emerging pathotype of MDV is necessary for successful control through vaccination.

K2P$^2$ $-$ A photometry pipeline for the K2 mission
With the loss of a second reaction wheel, resulting in the inability to point continuously and stably at the same field of view, the NASA Kepler satellite recently entered a new mode of observation known as the K2 mission.

We have isolated and sequenced two cDNAs of sizes 2674 and 677 bp from a cDNA library derived from MKT-1, a lymphoblastoid cell line transformed and latently infected with Marek's disease virus (MDV) using probes corresponding to the right-hand end of the BamHI-I2 fragment of the MDV genome.
