Varying Variants for AncDE with MDV Between Target and Trial Vector (MDV) Measurement
This paper compares standard Differential Evolution algorithm with AncDE, which adds a separate cache of recent ancestors that serve as an additional source of highquality genetic information. We compare the solutions produced by both DE and AncDE algorithms using benchmarks of 15 different numeric optimisation problems.

Two Marek's disease virus (MDV) cDNAs of 852 and 1168 bp, which map to the right end of the BamHI-I2 fragment of the MDV genome, were isolated from a cDNA library derived from the MDV transformed lymphoblastoid cell line MKT-1. These cDNAs hybridized to relatively abundant leftward mRNA transcripts in MKT-1 cells and cells lytically infected with MDV ...

The Role of Marek’s Disease Virus UL12 and UL29 in DNA Recombination and the Virus Lifecycle
Marek’s disease virus (MDV) is an oncogenic alphaherpesvirus that infects chickens and integrates its genome into the telomeres of latently infected cells.

A recombinant cell line (SOgE) was established, which was derived from the permanent quail muscle cell line QM7 and constitutively expressed the glycoprotein E (gE) gene of Marek′s disease virus serotype 1 (MDV-1). The SOgE cell line supported growth of virulent (RB-1B) and vaccine (CVI988, 584Ap80C) MDV-1 strains at a level comparable with that of ...

Marek's disease virus inhibits the JAK-STAT signaling pathway to evade the innate immune response
The Janus kinase (JAK)-signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) signaling pathway plays a crucial role in innate immunity by inducing antiviral proteins in response to interferon signals.
