On Ilmanen's multiplicity-one conjecture for mean curvature flow with type-I mean curvature [PDF]
In this paper, we show that if the mean curvature of a closed smooth embedded mean curvature flow in R^3 is of type-I, then the rescaled flow at the first finite singular time converges smoothly to a self-shrinker flow with multiplicity one. This result confirms Ilmanen's multiplicity-one conjecture under the assumption that the mean curvature is of ...

This study investigates an alternative approach to reactivating the oncosuppressor p53 in cancer. A short peptide targeting the association of the two p53 inhibitors, MDM2 and MDM4, induces an otherwise therapeutically active p53 with unique features that promote cell death and potentially reduce toxicity towards proliferating nontumor cells.

Mean curvature flow with free boundary outside a hypersphere [PDF]
The purpose of this paper is twofold: firstly, to establish sufficient conditions under which the mean curvature flow supported on a hypersphere with exterior Dirichlet boundary exists globally in time and converges to a minimal surface, and secondly, to

Application of Mean Curvature Flow for Surface Parametrizations [PDF]
This is an expository article describing the conformalized mean curvature flow, originally introduced by Kazhdan, Solomon, and Ben-Chen. We are interested in applying mean curvature flow to surface parametrizations. We discuss our own implementation of their algorithm and some limitations.

A novel method for tracking structural changes in gels using widely accessible microcomputed tomography is presented and validated for various hydro‐, alco‐, and aerogels. The core idea of the method is to track positions of micrometer‐sized tracer particles entrapped in the gel and relate them to the density of the gel network.

Sharp upper bounds for the capacity in the hyperbolic and Euclidean spaces
We derive various sharp upper bounds for the pp-capacity of a smooth compact set KK in the hyperbolic space Hn{{\mathbb{H}}}^{n} and the Euclidean space Rn{{\mathbb{R}}}^{n}.

TGF‐β has a complex role in cancer, exhibiting both tumor‐suppressive and tumor‐promoting properties. Using a series of differentiated tumoroids, derived from different stages and mutational background of colorectal cancer patients, we replicate this duality of TGF‐β in vitro. Notably, the atypical but highly aggressive KRASQ22K mutation rendered early‐

Non-local interaction in discrete Ricci curvature-induced biological aggregation
We investigate the collective dynamics of multi-agent systems in two- and three-dimensional environments generated by minimizing discrete Ricci curvature with local and non-local interaction neighbourhoods.

We identified adaptor protein ShcD as upregulated in triple‐negative breast cancer and found its expression to be correlated with reduced patient survival and increased invasion in cell models. Using a proteomic screen, we identified novel ShcD binding partners involved in EGFR signaling pathways.
