Trace water is acting as a constructive mediator in 2LiCl–GaF3, markedly increasing ionic conductivity while reorganizing local coordination. Hydration creates localized Li+ solvation environments and partially dissociates ion pairs, enhancing Li‐ion mobility.

Mechanochemical synthesis of a La0.67Ce0.21Nd0.08Pr0.04Ni5 intermetallic compound
Abstract The mechanochemical synthesis of a La 0.67 Ce 0.21 Nd 0.08 Pr 0.04 Ni 5 intermetallic is studied. The intermetallic is synthesised from a mixture of LaNi 5 and La 0.25 Ce 0.52 Nd 0.17 Pr 0.06 Ni 5 . The processes controlling the mechanical alloying are characterised as a function of integrated milling time ( t m ). Effects of fracture and

The introduction of high‐sublimation‐temperature additives during the mechanosynthesis of FAPbI3 powders enables the single‐source evaporation of phase‐pure, additive‐free FAPbI3 thin films of high optoelectronic quality. The additive‐engineered deposition process yields photovoltaic devices with stabilized efficiencies exceeding 18% for an active ...

Oxygen substitution in NaTaOxCl6‐2x drives structural evolution from isolated [TaCl6]– octahedra, through oxygen‐bridged [Ta2OCl10]2– dimers, toward extended trans‐[TaO2Cl4]3– chain‐like arrangements. At intermediate compositions, zero‐dimensional corner‐sharing motifs are proposed to create a flexible, disordered framework that peaks ionic ...

Characterization of YIG nanopowders by mechanochemical synthesis
Abstract Yittrium iron garnet, Y3Fe5O12 (YIG), is a material used widely in electronic devices for the microwave region as well as the magnetic bubble domain-type memories. Yittrium iron garnet (Y3Fe5O12) was produced by mechanochemical synthesis from Y2O3 and Fe2O3 with a particle size of around 150 nm.

The work examines the electrochemical and interfacial behaviors of crystalline NaAlCl4 and amorphous Na–Al–oxychloride solid electrolytes with NaNi0.5Mn0.5O2 cathodes. Operando gas evolution and ToF‐SIMS analyses highlight that pure chloride solid electrolytes offer greater interfacial stability and safety compared to the oxychloride solid electrolytes

Characterization and properties of barium bismuth titanate [PDF]
BaBi4Ti4O15 (BBiT) was prepared from stoichiometric amounts of BaTiO3 (BT) and Bi4Ti3O12 (BIT) obtained via mechanochemical synthesis. Mechanochemical synthesis was performed in air atmosphere in a planetary ball mill. BBiTceramics were sintered at 1100°
