Synthesis and Antiproliferative Activity of Cisplatin‐3–Chloropiperidine Conjugates

open access: yesChemBioChem, Volume 25, Issue 23, December 2, 2024.
Synthesis and characterization of two novel cisplatin‐ alkylating agents conjugates. Combining cisplatin with a sterically demanding cyclic nitrogen mustard. Cytotoxicity of the ligands and the complexes examined with MTT assays. The novel conjugates displayed a high antiproliferative potency against 5 human cancer cell lines.

An overview of different methods to establish a murine premature ovarian failure model

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, Volume 7, Issue 6, Page 835-852, December 2024.
Ten different methods to induce murine POF models: (1) POF model induced by chemotherapy drugs, (2) radiotherapy‐induced POF model, (3) genetically induced POF model, (4) POF model induced by D‐galactose, (5) natural ovarian aging (NOA)‐induced POF model (6) physiological POF model with consecutive superovulation, (7) oophorectomy POF model, (8) POF ...

THE RISK OF THERAPY-RELATED MYELODYSPLASIA/ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMIA IN HODGKIN LYMPHOMA HAS SUBSTANTIALLY DECREASED IN THE ABVD ERA ABOLISHING MECHLORETHAMINE AND PROCARBAZINE AND LIMITING VOLUMES AND DOSES OF RADIOTHERAPY

open access: yesMediterranean Journal of Hematology and Infectious Diseases, 2014
Patients with Hodgkin lymphoma treated with DNA-breaking alkylating agents such as mechlorethamine and procarbazine in the MOPP regimen and with topoisomerase II inhibitors, such as etoposide did show a long-term risk of developing therapy-related ...

A comparative analysis of DNA molecular crosslinking by dichloro-N-substituted azaadamantane isomers [PDF]

open access: yes, 1985
A series of anti, anti-dichloro-N-substituted azaadamantanes have been synthesized (Henkel et al, 1981, J. Org. Chem. , 46, 3483) representing conformationally rigid nitrogen mustards incorporated into an adamantyl framework with well defined ...

Long‐term cause‐specific mortality in adolescent and young adult Hodgkin lymphoma patients treated with contemporary regimens—A nationwide Danish cohort study

open access: yesBritish Journal of Haematology, Volume 205, Issue 4, Page 1374-1382, October 2024.
The therapeutic paradigm in Hodgkin lymphoma has shifted. Study of long‐term cause‐specific mortality in Danish patients show that we cure more patients and see less treatment‐related mortality. Summary The documented treatment‐induced excess mortality in Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) has spurred important treatment changes over recent decades.
