Recurrent Membranous Nephropathy Management after Kidney Transplant: A Case Report

open access: yesمجله علمی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی کردستان, 2023
Background and Aim: Membranous nephropathy (MN) is a podocytopathy characterized histologically by uniform thickening of the glomerular basement membrane due to the presence of subepithelial immune deposits.

A Nano‐Interception Strategy for Chronic Heart Failure: Prussian Blue Nanoparticles Disrupt Fibroblast‐Immune Communication via CCL2 Sequestration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A nano‐interception strategy disrupts pathogenic fibroblast–macrophage crosstalk in chronic heart failure. Scalable Prussian blue nanoparticles selectively sequester CCL2 via ultrahigh‐affinity binding, preventing CCR2+ macrophage recruitment and breaking a key fibro‐inflammatory circuit. This approach demonstrates robust efficacy in murine and porcine

GPCRs in CAR‐T Cell Immunotherapy: Expanding the Target Landscape and Enhancing Therapeutic Efficacy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy faces dual challenges of target scarcity and an immunosuppressive microenvironment in solid tumors. This review highlights how G protein‐coupled receptors can serve as both novel targets to expand the therapeutic scope and functional modules to enhance CAR‐T cell efficacy.

Primary antiphospholipid syndrome associated with anti-phospholipase A2 receptor antibody-positive membranous nephropathy

open access: yesBMC Nephrology, 2020
Background The kidney is a major target in primary antiphospholipid syndrome. Several types of nephropathy have been reported, the most frequent being acute or chronic specific vascular nephropathies and membranous nephropathy.

The continual presence of C3d but not IgG glomerular capillary deposition in stage I idiopathic membranous nephropathy in patients receiving corticosteroid treatment [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
BACKGROUND: Pathologic diagnosis of stage I idiopathic membranous nephropathy (MN-I) requires electron microscopy or immunohistochemistry that shows a glomerular capillary staining pattern of IgG and C3.

TRAP5 Inhibition Targeting Scar‐Associated Macrophages Ameliorates Acute Kidney Injury to Chronic Kidney Disease Transition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study delineates macrophage heterogeneity along the acute kidney injury to chronic kidney disease transition. Single‐cell RNA sequencing reveals a TRAP5+ scar‐associated macrophage subset driven by Spp1–Cd44 signaling and mitochondrial metabolic reprogramming.

GloPath: An Entity‐Centric Foundation Model for Glomerular Lesion Assessment and Clinicopathological Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An entity‐centric foundation model, GloPath, is introduced for comprehensive glomerular lesion assessment from routine renal biopsy images. Trained on over one million glomeruli, the framework enables robust lesion recognition, grading, and cross modality diag nosis, while uncovering large‐scale clinicopathological associations.
