Optimizing Odorants for Olfactory Training Based on Olfactory Receptor–Ligand Pair Analysis
This study employs receptor–ligand interaction analysis and olfactory epithelium transcriptomics to optimize olfactory training (OT). A novel four‐odorant combination (galaxolide, eugenol acetate, [−]‐menthol, geranyl acetate) activates 83.9% of 385 human olfactory receptors (ORs), covering 69.9% of estimated OR expression—significantly outperforming ...

Melt Processing of Cellulose Acetate for Controlled Release Applications – A Review
This review presents recent developments in the melt‐processing of cellulose acetate (CA). Factors affecting the processability, biodegradability, and mechanical performance of CA are also summarized. Plasticizers, bio‐based polymers (PLA, PBAT & PHBV), and clay nanoparticles are also examined toward enhancing the melt processability and mechanical ...

Fall armyworm (FAW) preferred ovipositing on vegetative‐stage soybeans. While ‘mother knows best’ may not apply in soybean‐FAW system, muffled cues in the reproductive stage could positively influence host success. Abstract BACKGROUND While the mother knows best/preference performance hypothesis has been well tested in natural ecosystems, how these ...
