Multiomic Integration Analysis for Monitoring Severe Asthma Treated With Mepolizumab or Omalizumab. [PDF]
Mepolizumab and omalizumab induce a distinct clinical effect. Mepolizumab and omalizumab induce both common and treatment‐specific metabolic and protein profiles over time in patients with severe asthma. Multiomic integration and receiver operating characteristic curve analyses reveal a specific set of biomolecules suggesting their value as potential ...

A Covalent and Modulable Inhibitor of the Tubulin-Microtubule System: Insights Into the Mechanism of Cacalol. [PDF]
An oxidated form of cacalol, the methylenecyclohexadienone MTC (2), is generated under highly oxidant conditions, thus emulating the environment present in cancer cells. This species (2) is responsible for the inhibition of tubulin polymerization by promoting an irreversible binding interaction with Cys347 in α‐tubulin.

Molecular Signatures and Functional Pathways of Human Monocytes and Macrophages in Allergy: An EAACI AllergoOncology Scoping Review. [PDF]
ABSTRACT AllergoOncology explores the intersection of allergic diseases and cancer, focusing on shared immune mechanisms. While monocytes and macrophages are extensively studied in cancer, their roles in allergic diseases remain underexplored. To address this gap, we conducted a scoping review to systematically characterize the molecular landscape and ...

In this study, we detected patterns of ecological convergence along elevation in floral volatiles as well as cost–benefit ratio in seed versus pollinated seeds. Our results suggest that these evolutionary patterns are the result of biotic and abiotic pressures.

Deciphering the role of platelets in severe allergy by an integrative omics approach
This study analyzes the lipidomic and transcriptomic profile of platelets in patients with mild and severe allergy. The lipidomic profile of platelets form severe allergic patients shows high levels of ceramides, phosphoinositols, phosphocholines, and sphingomyelins and low levels of arachidonic acid.

Abstract The composition of wine is determined by a complex interaction between environmental factors, genetic factors (i.e., grape varieties), and winemaking practices (including technology and storage). Metabolomics using NMR spectroscopy, GC‐MS, and/or LC‐MS has shown to be a useful approach for assessing the origin, authenticity, and quality of ...

Development of a Hepatoprotective Herbal Drug from Turnera diffusa
The incidence of liver diseases, such as nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and drug‐induced liver injury, continues to rise and is one of the leading causes of acute hepatitis. Current trends suggest that these types of conditions will increase in the coming years.
