Multiomic Integration Analysis for Monitoring Severe Asthma Treated With Mepolizumab or Omalizumab. [PDF]
Mepolizumab and omalizumab induce a distinct clinical effect. Mepolizumab and omalizumab induce both common and treatment‐specific metabolic and protein profiles over time in patients with severe asthma. Multiomic integration and receiver operating characteristic curve analyses reveal a specific set of biomolecules suggesting their value as potential ...

Extracellular Vesicles of Giardia duodenalis: Unravelling Their Virulence Factors and Potential to Induce Protection Against Experimental Giardiasis. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are key mediators of intercellular communication, enabling trans‐kingdom exchange of proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, and metabolites. In Giardia duodenalis, EVs contribute to parasite survival, host–pathogen interactions, and immune modulation.

In this study, we detected patterns of ecological convergence along elevation in floral volatiles as well as cost–benefit ratio in seed versus pollinated seeds. Our results suggest that these evolutionary patterns are the result of biotic and abiotic pressures.

A Covalent and Modulable Inhibitor of the Tubulin-Microtubule System: Insights Into the Mechanism of Cacalol. [PDF]
An oxidated form of cacalol, the methylenecyclohexadienone MTC (2), is generated under highly oxidant conditions, thus emulating the environment present in cancer cells. This species (2) is responsible for the inhibition of tubulin polymerization by promoting an irreversible binding interaction with Cys347 in α‐tubulin.

(DES)CONSTRUINDO A METABOLÔMICA EM PRODUTOS NATURAIS: UM CONVITE A DISCUSSÃO
The metabolomics approach is widespread and accepted in several lines within life sciences. However, much of what has been called metabolomics could be better defined as a comparison study, regardless of its purpose.
