Effective method for solving electromagnetic problems
The authors discuss a neural network model for solving electromagnetic problems which can be represented as combinational optimisation problems, with cost functions as the network energy. Solutions correspond to the minimum of energy. An example is given to illustrate the method.

Iterative Methods for Solving Convection-diffusion Problem
AbstractTo obtain an approximate solution of the steady-state convectiondiffusion problem, it is necessary to solve the corresponding system of linear algebraic equations. The basic peculiarity of these LA systems is connected with the fact that they have non-symmetric matrices.

Optimized Hybrid Methods for Solving Oscillatory Second Order Initial Value Problems
Two-step optimized hybrid methods of order five and order six are developed for the integration of second order oscillatory initial value problems. The optimized hybrid method (OHMs) are based on the existing nonzero dissipative hybrid methods. Phase-lag,

New Iterative Methods for Solving Nonlinear Problems with One and Several Unknowns
In this manuscript, a new type of study regarding the iterative methods for solving nonlinear models is presented. The goal of this work is to design a new fourth-order optimal family of two-step iterative schemes, with the flexibility through weight ...

Methods for Solving Discrete Optimization Problems [PDF]
The article specifies a group of discrete optimization problems, such as location problems and tour problems, from the aspect of individual approaches (exact, heuristic, and metaheuristic) and seeks to explain all the approaches on specific problems.

Iterative methods for solving fixed-point problems with nonself-mappings in Banach spaces
We study descent-like approximation methods and proximal methods of the retraction type for solving fixed-point problems with nonself-mappings in Hilbert and Banach spaces.
