[Isolation of lipase of microbial origin].

Prikladnaia biokhimiia i mikrobiologiia, 1977
By gel chromatography and polyacrylamide gel disc-electrophoresis the component composition of the culture liquid separated from the mycelium was investigated. After elution from Sephadex G-75 column lipase activity was concentrated in one peak. Out of 13 electrophoretic mobile protein components only one split trioleate.

Production and optimisation of microbial lipase

1999
Industrial enzymes can be extracted from a naturally occurring source by production from a microorganism in fermentation. Lipases (3.1.1.3) belong to the class of serine hydrolases that break down triglycerides to fatty acids and glycerol. The fungus Aspergillus niger has been known to produce triacylglyccerol lipase.

Microbial lipases: production and applications.

Science progress, 1996
Lipases occupy a prominent place among biocatalysts and have a wide spectrum of biotechnological applications. Lipases are unique as they hydrolyse fats into fatty acids and glycerol at the water-lipid interface and can reverse the reaction in non-aqueous media. The stability of these enzymes in organic solvents have pushed them into the frontier areas

Immobilization and Stabilization of Microbial Lipases

2018
Lipases (triacylglycerol acyl hydrolases, E.C. 3.1.1.3) are ubiquitous enzymes that catalyze numerous reactions such as hydrolysis, interesterification, esterification, alcoholysis, acidolysis and aminolysis. Broad substrate specificity and high stereo-, regio- and chemoselectivity make lipases attractive catalysts in a wide range of industrial ...
