We sought to evaluate the MICRONAUT MIC-Strip colistin (MMS) assay, a commercial broth microdilution (BMD) panel, using 273 carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii and Enterobacterales isolates. BMD was used as gold standard. MMS had 98.5% sensitivity and 99.5% specificity.

Anaerobe, 2020
Susceptibility profiles of anaerobic bacteria to antibiotics have become unpredictable, thus reliable and user-friendly methods for routine susceptibility testing are needed. In this study, we evaluated the MICRONAUT-S Anaerobes MIC test plate, a commercially available broth microdilution method, and suitable for clinical microbiology routine testing ...

The aim of this study was to compare a commercially available automated broth microdilution system (Merlin; Micronaut, Germany) with the standard agar dilution method for susceptibility testing of pulmonary isolates from cystic fibrosis patients. Accurate susceptibility testing of bacterial isolates from cystic fibrosis patients is known to pose ...

Antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) from blood culture (BC) may take several days, limiting the eventual impact on antimicrobial stewardship. Hence, rapid AST systems represent a valuable support in shorting the time-to-response. In this work, the Quantamatrix dRASTTM system (dRAST) was evaluated for rapid AST on 100 monomicrobial BCs (50 Gram ...
