Influence of Microwave Drying on the Properties of Moringa oleifera Leaves

open access: yesChemical Engineering Transactions, 2021
Moringa oleifera leaves were dried in a domestic microwave oven to investigate the influence of microwave power levels on rate of drying, drying time, the quality of the dried product based on their colour, protein, and iron content as well as the energy

Microwave Drying Characteristics of Parsley

open access: yesBiosystems Engineering, 2004
Parsley (Petroslinum crispum Mill.) leaves were dried in a domestic microwave oven to determine the effects of microwave output power on drying time, drying rate and the dried product quality in terms of colour. Seven different microwave output powers ranging from 360 to 900 W were used in the drying experiments.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Drying characteristics of ammonium polyvanadate under microwave heating based on a thin-layer drying kinetics fitting model

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2022
The dried ammonium polyvanadate (APV) can be used to produce high-purity Vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) by calcination. Therefore, drying is a necessary process.

Microstructure, Thermal Transport, and Dry‐Sliding Tribology of Powder‐Metallurgy Al7075 Composites Reinforced With Sol–Gel‐Derived ZnO–rGO Hybrid Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Sol–gel‐derived ZnO–rGO hybrid nanoparticles enable Al7075 powder‐metallurgy composites to achieve concurrent gains in hardness and thermal conductivity while markedly lowering friction and wear. The hybrid architecture couples ZnO‐based load support with rGO‐assisted lamellar sliding and heat spreading, revealing a promising route toward lightweight ...
