This paper presents an examination of the wear resistance of a duplex thermodiffusion (C+N) layer in the erosion–corrosion conditions. Two low-carbon steels for carburizing C15E (Č1221) and 16MnCr5 (Č4320) have been selected for a combined surface hardening treatment with carbon and nitrogen.
