Éduquer dans un monde pluraliste : le minimalisme moral au secours de l’école républicaine ?

open access: yesRecherches en Éducation, 2014
The moral minimalism is characterized primarily by its reference to a no harm principle (OGIEN, 2007). Is this moral option which seems inherently incompatible with the education, still mobilized in school educational practices? If it is, is it a problem

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Minimal Coding

open access: yesAnnals of Pure and Applied Logic, 1989
It is shown that the real in Jensen's coding theorem can be minimal over the model to be coded. The almost-disjoint forcing part in Jensen's proof is replaced by some kind of perfect set forcing. Before giving the rather involved proof the author gives the special cases when the set to be minimally coded is a subset of \(\omega_ 1\), \(\omega_ 2\), or \

In vitro models of cancer‐associated fibroblast heterogeneity uncover subtype‐specific effects of CRISPR perturbations

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

From 'scientific revolution' to 'unscientific revolution': an analysis of approaches to the history of generative linguistics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This paper is devoted to the challenge that generative linguistics poses for linguistic historiography. As a first step, it presents a systematic overview of 19 approaches to the history of generative linguistics.

Methylation biomarkers can distinguish pleural mesothelioma from healthy pleura and other pleural pathologies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

Laminated PAINT [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Though we may not perceive it, we are surrounded by material-in-flux. Inert materials degrade and the events that comprise our natural and social environments causally thread into a duration that unifies us in our incomprehension.

Minimal Universes

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematics, 1994
An inner model M is MINIMAL if there is a class A such that is amenable yet has no transitive proper elementary submodel. We study minimal universes in the context of 0#. For example we prove: If 0# exists then there is an inner model which is minimal and locally generic over L(i.e., every set in the inner model is set-generic over L).

Detection of circulating tumor DNA in colorectal cancer patients using a methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.

Is Meaning Holism Compatible with Semantic Minimalism?

open access: yesStudia Semiotyczne, 2019
DOI: http://doi.org/10.26333/sts.xxxi2.04 Meaning Holism and Contextualism are standardly acknowledged to be similar relativistic theories that often lead to similar troubles, in particular to issues concerning instability. On the other hand, the main
