Creep Deformation and Rupture Behaviour of P92 Steel at 923K

open access: yes, 2013
Creep deformation and rupture behaviour of P92 steel has been examined at 923K for stresses ranging from 75 to 150MPa. The steel exhibited well defined primary, secondary characterized by minimum creep rate and prolonged tertiary creep stages. The stress

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Prediction of creep properties for two nickel-base superalloys from stress relaxation testing

open access: yes, 2011
: The creep properties derived from stress relaxation tests are compared to those from creep tests in the temperature range from 705 C to 800 C and stresses from 200MPa to 750MPa for the nickel base superalloys IN738LC and modified Waspaloy.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

High-yttrium-content Hastelloy X fabricated by additive manufacturing: overcoming TCP phase-introduced embrittlement for enhanced creep resistance

open access: yesMaterials Research Letters
Contrary to conventional approach that enhanced high-temperature creep performance by adding low levels of yttrium, in this work, we innovatively added a high content of Y (0.76 wt.%) to Hastelloy X and utilized laser powder bed fusion to form uniformly ...
