Commercialisation of impression creep testing

open access: yesUbiquity Proceedings, 2018
Impression creep testing is a technique in which the deformation resulting from load applied via a rectangular indenter can be converted relatively straightforwardly into a proxy for creep minimum strain rate.

Creep in fibre-reinforced polymer mat composites [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Tensile creeps have been conducted upon a woven, glass-fibre laminated epoxy composite and a 0/90° cross ply, carbon fibre reinforced epoxy composite. For the laminate loading was aligned with a fibre direction.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Static loading of the knee joint results in modified single leg landing biomechanics.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2020
BACKGROUND:External loading of the ligamentous tissues induces mechanical creep, which modifies neuromuscular response to perturbations. It is not well understood how ligamentous creep affects athletic performance and contributes to modifications of knee

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Pre-qualification of additively manufactured 316L stainless steel using small punch and uniaxial creep testing

open access: yesFrontiers in Materials
Additive manufacturing represents a cutting-edge technology that offers significant reductions in both manufacturing time and cost. However, any new technology or material must go through a qualification process before it can be used in the nuclear ...

Analysis and Discussion of Constitutive Equation for High Temperature Creep of 316H Stainless Steel of ASME Code

open access: yesYuanzineng kexue jishu, 2023
ASME 2021 code provides constitutive equation for high temperature creep of 316H stainless steel. The paper aims to help engineers and researchers correctly evaluate the strain and creep damage of high-temperature equipment by using the equation. Firstly,

Magnetic domain wall motion in a nanowire: depinning and creep

open access: yes, 2011
The domain wall motion in a magnetic nanowire is examined theoretically in the regime where the domain wall driving force is weak and its competition against disorders is assisted by thermal agitations.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

High-yttrium-content Hastelloy X fabricated by additive manufacturing: overcoming TCP phase-introduced embrittlement for enhanced creep resistance

open access: yesMaterials Research Letters
Contrary to conventional approach that enhanced high-temperature creep performance by adding low levels of yttrium, in this work, we innovatively added a high content of Y (0.76 wt.%) to Hastelloy X and utilized laser powder bed fusion to form uniformly ...
