Biological implications and clinical value of mir-210 in gastrointestinal cancer
Expert Review of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, 2017Hypoxia, a common feature of tumor microenvironment, is known to accelerate tumor development and growth by promoting the formation of a neoplastic environment. Recent studies have provided a wealth of evidence that miRNAs are significant members of the adaptive response to low oxygen in tumors.

miR-210-5p Promotes Pulmonary Hypertension by Blocking ATP2A2
Cardiovascular Drugs and TherapyAberrant expression of ATPase sarcoplasmic/endoplasmic retic Ca2+ transporting 2 (ATP2A2) has attracted attention for its pathophysiologic role in pulmonary hypertension (PH). Several miRNAs, including miR-210-5p, have also been reported to be pathogenic factors in PH, but their exact mechanisms remain unknown.

MiR-210: A potential therapeutic target against radiation-induced enteropathy
Radiotherapy and Oncology, 2014A previously undescribed and robust miR210 overexpression is shown in intestinal samples obtained from patients with radiation enteropathy and fibrotic cultured cells. In addition, miR-210 overexpression is repressed by antifibrotic treatment combining pentoxifylline and α-tocopherol.
