Biobased Polyurethane Films Based on Andiroba (Carapa guianensis) and Buriti (Mauritia flexuosa) Oil Polyols

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Polyurethane films were prepared from andiroba (Carapa guianensis) and buriti (Mauritia flexuosa) oil‐derived polyols, emphasizing their potential as bio‐based materials. UV–Vis analysis indicates the retention of carotenoid‐related chromophoric features within the polymer matrix.

Evaluation of the Efficiency of a Biobased Reactive Plasticizer on the Morphology and Properties of Sustainable Flexible Films Based on Poly(Lactic Acid) (PLA) Produced by Blown Film Extrusion

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
A comparative investigation of two epoxy additives derived from cardanol (NC513 and NC514s) for production of films based on poly (lactic acid) (PLA), acetyl tributyl citrate (ATBC), and poly (butylene adipate‐co‐terephthalate) (PBAT) clarified their distinct roles, with NC513 mainly acting as a plasticizer, reducing viscosity and enhancing ductility ...

miR-370 suppresses HBV gene expression and replication by targeting nuclear factor IA

Journal of Medical Virology, 2017
Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is a major health problem worldwide. The roles of microRNAs in the regulation of HBV expression are being increasingly recognized. In this study, we found that overexpression of miR-370 suppressed HBV gene expression and replication in Huh7 cells, whereas antisense knockdown of endogenous miR-370 enhanced HBV gene ...

CircSPI1_005 ameliorates osteoarthritis by sponging miR-370-3p to regulate the expression of MAP3K9

International Immunopharmacology, 2022
Osteoarthritis (OA), caused by the destruction of joint cartilage, is the most prevalent form of arthritis, causing pain and stiffness in joints among millions of patients worldwide. Increasing evidence suggests that non-coding RNAs, including circular RNAs, play important roles in the pathogenesis of OA, but the precise signaling pathway is still ...

A literature review on the role of miR-370 in disease

Gene Reports, 2016
Abstract MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of small non-coding RNA molecules which regulate posttranscriptional events. Many studies have revealed that miRNAs have emerged as disease-suppressive molecules or oncomiRs by targeting disease oncogenes or suppressor genes. Therefore, miRNAs have become a hotspot in many researches.

Increased plasma miR-370-3p expression in poor-outcome patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

Pancreatology, 2023
To determine whether circulating microRNAs (miRNAs) can be used as prognostic biomarkers for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).Patients with PDAC (N = 120) who underwent surgical resection at Hiroshima University Hospital between November 2006 and January 2020 were enrolled in this study and grouped based on their overall survival (OS) into two ...

Salidroside-regulated lipid metabolism with down-regulation of miR-370 in type 2 diabetic mice

European Journal of Pharmacology, 2016
Salidroside is known for its pharmacological properties and in particular its antioxidation effects. In recent years, it has been recognized that salidroside plays an important role in treating diabetes. Accumulated evidence suggests that microRNAs may be involved in diabetic lipid disorders.

FoxM1 is Overexpressed in Helicobacter pylori –Induced Gastric Carcinogenesis and Is Negatively Regulated by miR-370

Molecular Cancer Research, 2013
Abstract Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infections are strongly implicated in human gastric mucosa–associated diseases. Forkhead box M1 (FoxM1), a key positive regulator of cell proliferation, is overexpressed in gastric cancer. MicroRNAs are important post-transcriptional regulators of gene expression.

The oncogenic role of the circ_0003997/miR-370-3p/HMGA2 axis in papillary thyroid cancer

Endocrine
Papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) is the most common endocrine malignancy, demonstrating the most rapid incidence growth among solid tumors in the past decades. Notably, aggressive variants frequently manifest metastatic potential and therapeutic resistance, substantially compromising poor prognosis.

Expression of miR-140-5p and miR-370 in nephroblastoma and its effect on cell proliferation.

Journal of B.U.ON. : official journal of the Balkan Union of Oncology, 2021
This study aimed to explore the expression changes of microRNA (miR)-140-5p and miR-370 in nephroblastoma and its effect on the proliferative ability of nephroblastoma WT_CLS1 and SK-NEP-1 cells. The expression levels of miR-140-5p and miR-370 was detected by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) in cancer tissues and normal adjacent tissues which were ...
