Biomaterial Physical Cues as Gene Regulators for Cellular Agriculture
This review elucidates how biomaterial physical cues—ranging from matrix stiffness to remote electromagnetic fields—serve as extrinsic regulators of gene expression in cellular agriculture. By identifying central mechanotransduction pathways that bridge physical inputs to genetic remodeling, the authors propose the “Material Genome” concept: a ...

What's new? Hypoxic regions and inflammatory Th17 cells in the tumor environment are both associated with poor prognosis in cervical cancer. However, synergistic mechanisms between hypoxia and Th17 cells remain elusive. This study demonstrated Th17–hypoxia‐driven mechanisms underlying cervical cancer progression.

Targeting EZH2 in Cancer: From Molecular Mechanisms to Clinical Translation
The abnormal overexpression or gain‐of‐function mutations of EZH2 play a significant role in cancer occurrence and progression, highlighting the importance and potential of EZH2 as a cancer biomarker. Therefore, screening for effective and safe small‐molecule inhibitors, degraders, and natural compounds targeting EZH2 through preclinical cancer models ...

Profiling of the microRNA transcriptome in feline whole blood [PDF]
Circulating microRNAs (miRNAs) are potential biomarkers for numerous diseases. Characterization of the whole blood (WB) miRNA-transcriptome (miRNome) in cats is lacking, which limits the potential use of miRNAs as biomarkers for diseases such as feline ...

Abstract Background and Purpose Alcohol abuse and affective disorders are severe comorbid psychiatric diseases characterized by impaired brain synaptic transmission. The role of presynaptic scaffolding proteins coordinating presynaptic plasticity and neurotransmitter release, such as Bassoon (Bsn), in the pathogenesis of these disorders remains elusive.

ABSTRACT Pharmacologic interventions for type 1 diabetes (T1D) have advanced significantly in recent years with the advent of the first FDA approved therapy teplizumab for delaying symptomatic disease onset in 2022. Despite this progress, major hurdles remain in moving toward personalized medicine approaches for T1D.

Rb4CuSb2X12 (X = Cl, Br) as Novel Vacancy‐Ordered Quadruple Perovskites
The vacancy‐ordered quadruple perovskites Rb4CuSb2X12 (X = Cl, Br) were crystallized from hydrohalic acid. Their crystal structures can be interpreted as new distortion variants of the perovskite structure with ordered vacancies. The electronic structure of Rb4CuSb2Br12 shows that the Br and Sb states form the valence band and the upper conduction band.
