5’tRF‐GlyGCC promotes breast cancer malignancy by binding to LDHA. This interaction, facilitated by FGFR1 and LDHA phosphorylation, enhances glycolysis. Additionally, 5’tRF‐GlyGCC/LDHA signaling recruits and polarizes macrophages into a pro‐tumor M2 state via CCL7, thus remodeling the tumor microenvironment.

Sestrins are evolutionarily conserved mediators of exercise benefits. [PDF]
Exercise is among the most effective interventions for age-associated mobility decline and metabolic dysregulation. Although long-term endurance exercise promotes insulin sensitivity and expands respiratory capacity, genetic components and pathways ...

A new cerebrocortical organoid model using isogenic hiPSCs with familial Alzheimer's mutations recapitulates key AD features, including amyloid‐beta and phospho‐Tau aggregation, neuronal hyperexcitability, and synapse loss. Single‐cell RNA‐seq reveals aberrant pathways in excitatory and inhibitory neurons.

N6-methyl-adenosine (m6A) methylation has recently been shown to play a critical role in muscle development. We recently revealed that local GHR knockdown impairs mitochondrial function by inhibiting mitochondrial biogenesis, thereby repressing myoblast ...

Status epilepticus may decrease mitochondrial biogenesis, resulting in neuronal cell death occurring in the hippocampus. Sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) functionally interacts with peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors and γ coactivator 1α (PGC-1α), which play a

Perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) exposure disrupts oocyte maturation and early embryonic development. This study elucidates the mechanism by which enhanced O‐GlcNAcylation of FOXK1 underlies the PFOS‐induced reduction of progesterone levels in granulosa cells and the disturbance of follicular microenvironment.

Increased liver content of DHA‐derived small lipid autacoids (i.e resolvin D1 and maresin 1) associates with enhanced mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation, fatty acid β‐oxidation and bioenergetic metabolic flux. These features provide hepatic protection from steatotic, pro‐inflammatory and fibrogenic insults.

Molecular Mechanisms for Age-Associated Mitochondrial Deficiency in Skeletal Muscle
The abundance, morphology, and functional properties of mitochondria decay in skeletal muscle during the process of ageing. Although the precise mechanisms remain to be elucidated, these mechanisms include decreased mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) repair and ...

High light exposure triggers an epidermis‐specific remodeling of mitochondria and ER in Arabidopsis, driven by chloroplast‐derived signals. Live‐cell imaging shows that HL rapidly suppresses mitochondrial motility, followed by fusion‐driven elongation and ER cisternal expansion.
