Chinese hamster cells (M3-1 line) in S phase were laser-UV-microirradiated (λ, 257 nm) at a small site of the nucleus. Cells were fixed either immediately thereafter or in subsequent stages of the cell cycle, including prophase and metaphase.

Interactions of Antibody Drug Conjugate Anti‐Tubulin and Topoisomerase I Inhibitor Payloads with Radiotherapy to Potentiate Immunotherapy

Antibody drug conjugates deliver their cytotoxic anti‐tubulin or topoisomerase I inhibitor payloads to tumors through cancer cell receptor targeting. The released drug payloads induce cellular changes that interact with radiotherapy resulting in radiosensitization that improves cancer cell kill and stimulates anti‐tumor immune responses.

Endocytic Control of Cell‐Autonomous and Non‐Cell‐Autonomous Functions of p53

NUMB Ex3‐containing isoforms localize to the plasma membrane, where they recruit p53 through SNX9 and direct it to multivesicular bodies and exosomes. Exported p53 is taken up by neighboring cells and activates nuclear programs, revealing an intercellular, exosome‐based pathway that might help establish a tumor‐suppressive microenvironment.
