Spatiotemporally Ultrasound‐Controlled Nanoparticles Reprogramming Immunostimulatory Antigen‐Presenting Cancer‐Associated Fibroblasts to Enhance Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We developed an ultrasound‐controlled biomimetic nanoplatform, mRNA/V@M NPs, to co‐deliver CD74 mRNA and V‐9302 for fibrotic TNBC therapy. CD74 mRNA reprograms myCAFs into antigen‐presenting apCAF cells through the CD74‐MHC II pathway, while V‐9302 induces ICD and activates MHC I‐CD8+ T cell immunity.

Black Hole Quencher‐Enhanced Plasmonic Photothermal Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Researchers have developed a universal method to boost plasmonic photothermal conversion by attaching black hole quencher (BHQ) molecules to matched metal nanostructures. This hybrid approach increases efficiency by roughly threefold, reaching up to 69.1% in the near‐infrared‐II window.

Modal damping ratio analysis of dynamical system with non-stationary responses

Applied Ocean Research, 2016
Abstract During the long term monitoring of the structure, the damping ratio reflects the characteristics of the structure from perspective of energy loss, and its changes can reflect the structural damages to some extent. But in the structural modal analysis based on the prototype measurement, the damping ratio identification results are difficult ...

On the modal damping ratios of shear-type structures equipped with Rayleigh damping systems

Journal of Sound and Vibration, 2006
Abstract The effects of added manufactured viscous dampers upon shear-type structures are analytically investigated here for the class of Rayleigh damping systems. The definitions of mass proportional damping (MPD) and stiffness proportional damping (SPD) systems are briefly recalled and their physical counterpart is derived.
