Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Sliding mode control for DC/DC converters [PDF]

open access: yes2012 IEEE 51st IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC), 2012
In this paper, different sliding mode controls for DC/DC converters control are considered. Classical Buck, Boost and bidirectional Buck/Boost plants are presented for control application. A unified approach is adopted based on the mathematical tools of first- and second-order sliding mode output control.

Simulations and Analysis and Operating Regime as Rectifier with Power Factor Correction of Two - Quadrant Converter with RNSIC

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2009
In this paper, a new topology for a two-quadrant converter is presented. In the AC/DC transfer mode, the converter works as a rectifier with near sinusoidal input currents (RNSIC), while in the DC/AC transfer mode it works as a square-wave pulse ...

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Dual-edge modulated dual-switch Buck-Boost converter

open access: yesDianzi Jishu Yingyong, 2018
Dual-switch Buck-Boost has some advantages such as ground sharing between input and output, low switching device stress. Under the synchronous mode, the switch loss is serious.
