Extended model predictive control: robust controller with matching condition
This paper describes a new robust controller based on Model Predictive Control (MPC). MPC is one of the useful control methods because it enables to design time response intuitively and to consider the constraint of state and input. However, MPC does not

Data-Driven Model Predictive Control With Stability and Robustness Guarantees [PDF]
We propose a robust data-driven model predictive control (MPC) scheme to control linear time-invariant systems. The scheme uses an implicit model description based on behavioral systems theory and past measured trajectories.

Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy in Bionanotechnology: Current Advances and Future Perspectives
Kelvin probe force microscopy (KPFM) enables the nanoscale mapping of electrostatic surface potentials. While widely applied in materials science, its use in biological systems remains emerging. This review presents recent advances in KPFM applied to biological samples and provides a critical perspective on current limitations and future directions for

Finite-Control-Set Model Predictive Control (FCS-MPC) for Islanded Hybrid Microgrids [PDF]
Microgrids consisting of multiple distributed energy resources (DERs) provide a promising solution to integrate renewable energies, e.g., solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Hybrid AC/DC microgrids leverage the merits of both AC and DC power systems. In this paper, a control strategy for islanded multi-bus hybrid microgrids is proposed based on the Finite-

The water permeability of amorphous carbon dots (CDs) is demonstrated by investigating their plasticization. Novel polyamide‐based and amorphous nanoparticles are synthesized by controlling their inner packing density. Water plasticization is evidenced by the decrease of the CDs glass transition temperature with increasing the hydration degree.

A Functional 2D Carbon Allotrope Combining Nanoporous Graphene and Biphenylene Segments
The synthesis of a novel nanoporous graphene (NPG) is reported with biphenylene segments via thermal fusion of 12‐armchair porous graphene nanoribbons grown on gold surfaces. Characterization using STM, AFM, and DFT reveals low‐defect semiconducting behaviour and tunable band gaps.
