The nature of antimatter is examined in the context of algebraic quantum field theory. It is shown that the notion of antimatter is more general than that of antiparticles.

The Form Factor Program: a Review and New Results - the Nested SU(N) Off-Shell Bethe Ansatz
The purpose of the ''bootstrap program'' for integrable quantum field theories in 1+1 dimensions is to construct explicitly a model in terms of its Wightman functions.

A Dual‐Functional Electrolyte Additive for Highly Reversible Zinc‐Ion Batteries
This study introduces tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBAB) as a dual‐function additive for aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. TBAB disrupts the hydrogen‐bond network of water while TBA+ adsorbs on Zn to improve interfacial wettability and regulate Zn2+ flux, resulting in suppressed dendrite growth and parasitic reactions. This synergy extended the lifespan of Zn|

On a Convergent Model of Quantum Field Theory with Indefinite Metric. II [PDF]
A convergent model of quantum field theory with indefinite metric is proposed to the case of an indirect interaction between a physical neutnd scalar field and a physical spinor field, by introducing four kinds of unphysical spinor fidcls which play the roles of the in termediate states connecting these two of physical fielcl~. Two of these unphysical

Blue phosphorescent OLEDs remain limited by poor operational stability. Here, a unified analytical framework integrating transient photoluminescence and magneto‐electroluminescence is developed to correlate intrinsic material photophysics with electrically driven degradation.

Quantum Gravity: A Primer for Philosophers. [PDF]
‘Quantum Gravity’ does not denote any existing theory: the field of quantum gravity is very much a ‘work in progress’. As you will see in this chapter, there are multiple lines of attack each with the same core goal: to find a theory that unifies, in ...

A Computer Model Of Quantum Field Theory
This paper describes a computer model of Quantum Field Theory (QFT), referred to in this paper as QTModel. After specifying the initial configuration for a QFT process (e.g. scattering) the model generates the possible applicable processes in terms of Feynman diagrams, the equations for the scattering matrix, and evaluates probability amplitudes for ...

Metasurfaces and other structured photonic environments can dramatically modify the absorption and/or light emission of semiconductors. However, the consequences of these changes on the temperature of the system are not well understood. The authors address this problem for colloidal nanocrystals and leverage their findings to convert light into ...

Quantum Field Theory: Underdetermination, Inconsistency, and Idealization [PDF]
Quantum field theory (QFT) presents a genuine example of the underdetermination of theory by empirical evidence. There are variants of QFT which are empirically indistinguishable yet support different interpretations.
