Dynamics of quantum information resources in two-flavor neutrino oscillations

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
The burgeoning intersection of particle physics and quantum information science unveils significant connections, particularly in the context of neutrinos–fundamental particles that challenge our understanding of mass, mixing, and coherence at the quantum

Contrail Modeling and Simulation [PDF]

open access: yesAnnual Review of Fluid Mechanics, 2016
There is large uncertainty in the radiative forcing induced by aircraft contrails, particularly after they transform to cirrus. It has recently become possible to simulate contrail evolution for long periods after their formation. We review the main physical processes and simulation efforts in the four phases of contrail evolution, namely the jet ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

A multistate platform model for time‐to‐event endpoints in oncology clinical trials

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology
A multistate platform model was developed to describe time‐to‐event (TTE) endpoints in an oncology trial through the following states: initial, tumor response (TR), progressive disease (PD), overall survival (OS) event (death), censor to the last ...

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Integration of Time‐Varying Pharmacometric Modeling With Cox Regression for Time‐to‐Event Analysis in NONMEM

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology
Although time‐varying Cox regression modeling approaches have been developed, exposure–response analyses for time‐to‐event (TTE) endpoints often rely on static exposure covariates and may overlook the real‐world dosing variability and drug concentration ...

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in
