Mycotoxin occurrence in kernels and straws of wheat, barley, and tritordeum
Thirty-two varieties of common and durum wheat, hordeum, barley, and tritordeum collected over two harvesting years (2020 and 2021) were investigated for the presence of multiple Fusarium-related mycotoxins in asymptomatic plants. DON, 3-AcDON, 15-AcDON,

Under heat stress, GENOMES UNCOUPLED1 (GUN1) is crucial for the formation of functional chloroplasts in seedlings under heat stress. Without GUN1, chloroplast development fails and seedlings fail to turn green. Therefore, GUN1 helps relay heat‐related cues to maintain chloroplast biogenesis and support thermotolerance during early growth.

Summary Fumonisin B1 (FB1) is a mycotoxin that disrupts ceramide biosynthesis and kills plants. Prior activation with bacterial microbe‐associated molecular patterns (MAMPs), such as components of bacterial flagella, effectively suppresses FB1‐induced cell death.

Modified Method for the Determination of Mycotoxins in Cocoa Beans
Abstract Method 26.026–26.030 was modified for the analysis of cocoa beans for aflatoxins by inclusion of 3% silver nitrate solution in the extraction solvent mixture. Recoveries of aflatoxins and ochratoxin A added at levels of 5–45 and 20–300 μg/kg, respectively, were satisfactory.

ABSTRACT Phytopathogenic fungi secrete a great number of effector proteins into various organelles of host plants and suppress plant immunity through different mechanisms. In this study, we identify SCRE7 as a unique nuclear effector that is essential for U. virens infection.

Improved Longan Genome Assembly Reveals Insights Into Flowering Mechanisms
ABSTRACT Longan is an exotic tropical fruit crop and exhibits off‐season flowering induced by potassium chlorate (KClO3), though the molecular mechanisms remain unclear. We assembled a high‐quality, 441.5 Mb genome of variety ‘Shixia’, with a contig N50 at 28.1 Mb, 29, 325 protein‐coding genes, 26 telomeres and 15 centromeres.
