This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Bioscience students were asked for their opinions on the value and teaching of skills. 204 responded that teamwork, time management and study skills are necessary to reach University, that scientific writing, research, laboratory and presentation skills are taught effectively during their studies, while other skills are gained inherently through study ...

Approximation and the Multidimensional Moment Problem
The aim of this paper is to apply polynomial approximation by sums of squares in several real variables to the multidimensional moment problem. The general idea is to approximate any element of the positive cone of the involved function space with sums ...

On entropy-constrained Gaussian channel capacity via the moment problem
We study the capacity of the power-constrained additive Gaussian channel with an entropy constraint at the input. In particular, we characterize this capacity in the low signal-to-noise ratio regime, as a corollary of the following general result on a ...

The crystal structure of Borrelia burgdorferi nicotinamidase (PncA/BBE22) reveals the correct full‐length protein initiated from a non‐canonical AUU start codon. The structure validates previous biochemical findings and resolves a long‐standing annotation error, demonstrating that the truncated database sequence is structurally incompatible with the ...

Estimation of Nonparametric Conditional Moment Models with Possibly Nonsmooth Moments [PDF]
This paper studies nonparametric estimation of conditional moment models in which the residual functions could be nonsmooth with respect to the unknown functions of endogenous variables.

We start by an application the of Krein–Milman theorem to the integral representation of completely monotonic functions. Elements of convex optimization are also mentioned. The paper continues with applications of Hahn–Banach-type theorems and polynomial

The dual roles of CC and CXC chemokines in distinguishing active, latent, and subclinical tuberculosis were reviewed, along with an evaluation of their potential as diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets to advance precision medicine in tuberculosis management. The graphical abstract was generated with AI assistance (Gemini 3.0).

Interpolations of Bargmann Type Measures
In this paper, we shall discuss Bargmann type measures on C for several classes of probability measures on R. The unified interpolation expressions include not only the classical Bargmann measure and its q-deformation, but also their t-deformations and ...
