Analysis of Strata Deformation Patterns Induced by Vertical Shaft Sinking Machine Based on Soil Deformation Zoning: A Case Study of the Zhuyuan Bailonggang Sewage Connecting Pipe Project in Shanghai, China

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Field measurements with the Plaxis3D 24.1 software were performed on the 17# shaft of the Shanghai Zhuyuan Bailonggang sewage connecting the pipe project to analyze the ground deformation patterns during VSM (vertical shaft sinking machine) construction ...

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Open-pit mine slopes stability analysis based on analytic hierarchy process-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model

open access: yesZhongguo dizhi zaihai yu fangzhi xuebao
The bench slope within an open-pit coal mine plays an important supporting role for coal resource production and transportation. The stability evaluation of the slope is of great significance in guiding continuous mining operations within the mine.

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Spatial dependency enhanced dam safety evaluation: a digital-twin based monitoring platform integrating multi-sensor correlation analytics

open access: yesFrontiers in Mechanical Engineering
The analysis of monitoring data plays a critical role in dam safety assessment. The data analysis process typically involves three stages: monitoring point information inspection, single-point analysis and early warning, and multi-point data fusion and ...

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

The incomplete recovery of Danish coastal waters following reduced nutrient inputs and oligotrophication

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science
Danish coastal waters were severely affected by eutrophication in the 1980s, prompting the implementation of national nutrient reduction plans. The aim of this study was to explore the recovery of Danish coastal waters and report trends for selected ...

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...
