A notion of graph likelihood and an infinite monkey theorem [PDF]
We play with a graph-theoretic analogue of the folklore infinite monkey theorem. We define a notion of graph likelihood as the probability that a given graph is constructed by a monkey in a number of time steps equal to the number of vertices. We present an algorithm to compute this graph invariant and closed formulas for some infinite classes. We have

Genome-wide characterization of endogenous retroviruses in snub-nosed monkeys [PDF]
Background Endogenous retroviruses (ERV) are remnants of former exogenous retroviruses that had previously invaded the germ line of the host that can be vertically transmitted across generations. While the majority of ERVs lack infectious capacity due to

Infinite Physical Monkey: Do Deep Learning Methods Really Perform Better in Conformation Generation? [PDF]
Conformation Generation is a fundamental problem in drug discovery and cheminformatics. And organic molecule conformation generation, particularly in vacuum and protein pocket environments, is most relevant to drug design. Recently, with the development of geometric neural networks, the data-driven schemes have been successfully applied in this field ...

RhesusBase: a knowledgebase for the monkey research community
Although the rhesus macaque is a unique model for the translational study of human diseases, currently its use in biomedical research is still in its infant stage due to error-prone gene structures and limited annotations. Here, we present RhesusBase for

Role of the Squirrel Monkey in Parasitic Disease Research [PDF]
Much controversy exists regarding the species of the squirrel monkey. Napier and Napier (Whitney 1995) divide the squirrel monkeys into two species: Saimiri sciureus and Saimiri osterdii; the former is used in biomedical research. Hershkovitz prefers to use two groups of Saimiri based on facial characteristics and other factors, which include "Roman ...
