Immunochemistry of human Lp[a]: characterization of monoclonal antibodies that cross-react strongly with plasminogen.

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1991
Forty different monoclonal antibodies were produced from hybridomas that were raised against human Lp[a]. Of these, 14 strongly cross-reacted with plasminogen on ELISA screening assays while 16 clearly did not and 10 were only marginally cross-reactive ...

Adjusting Cell‐Surface Interactions Through a Covalent Immobilization of Biomolecules

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This review presents an overview of current and emerging immobilization techniques coupled with an in‐depth investigation of the underlying mechanisms governing the activity and stability of covalently immobilized biomolecules. The aim of this study is to serve as a guide for the development of long‐lasting biomedical coatings with versatile biological

Using QCM‐D for Real‐Time Analysis of Cell Adhesion Dynamics at Biointerfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study explores adhesion of human fibroblasts to functionalized biomaterial surfaces. Quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) is used to measure cell responses in real time. The QCM‐D signalis correlated with changes in cell morphology and focal adhesion kinase (FAK) activation. This data shows a positive correlation between the energy

A new enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay with two monoclonal antibodies to specific epitopes measures human lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 2002
We established five monoclonal antibodies that reacted with human LCAT and recognized different epitopes on LCAT. These are mouse anti-human LCAT monoclonal antibodies designated 36487, 36454, 36442, 36405, and 36486, which react with the peptides ...

Nanostructured 316L Stainless Steel Stent Surfaces Improve Corrosion Resistance, and Enhance Endothelization and Hemocompatibility

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study investigates the impact of nanostructured surface modification on corrosion resistance, HUVEC functions, and platelet interactions of 316L SS for cardiovascular stents. Nanostructured surfaces enhanced HUVEC proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis‐related gene expression while reducing platelet adhesion and hemolysis.

Label‐Free Impedimetric Determination of Cortisol Using Gold Nanoparticles Functionalized Laser‐Induced Graphene Interdigitated Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Non‐faradaic label‐free impedimetric determination of cortisol is demonstrated with gold nanoparticles (AuNP) functionalized laser‐induced graphene interdigitated electrodes (LIG‐IDE). The AuNP functionalized LIG‐IDE exhibits remarkable characteristics including good logarithmic linear range, high reproducibility, repeatability, and robust selectivity.

ABodyBuilder3: Improved and scalable antibody structure predictions [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Accurate prediction of antibody structure is a central task in the design and development of monoclonal antibodies, notably to understand both their developability and their binding properties. In this article, we introduce ABodyBuilder3, an improved and scalable antibody structure prediction model based on ImmuneBuilder.
