We isolated Zymoseptoria tritici strains from a diverse wheat field and quantified fungicide resistance using a novel plate assay. We found high diversity in fungicide sensitivity and host–fungicide–pathogen interactions. Abstract BACKGROUND Zymoseptoria tritici causes Septoria tritici blotch (STB), the most damaging wheat disease in Europe. In Europe,

Chronic morpholine exposure of rats
The chronic toxicity and carcinogenic potential of morpholine were evaluated in 60 Sprague-Dawley rats/sex/group receiving morpholine at mean inhalation exposure concentrations of 0, 10, 50 and 150 ppm for 6 hr/day, 5 days/week, for 104 weeks. Survival, body weight gains, organ weights, hematology, and clinical chemistries were normal in exposed groups

Abstract Natural dyes are compounds that occur naturally in several organisms and are classified based on chemical structure and application method. The literature cites several natural dyes used in industrial transformation processes. Annatto dye is used in the food industry, and its biological pigment is extracted from the annatto seed. However, this

Bifunctional Aziridines from Photochemically Generated FSO2NH2 for SuFEx Diversification of Alkenes
Photochemically generated FSO2NH2 serves as a safe, practical nitrene precursor for Rh‐catalyzed aziridination of alkenes, granting access to previously inaccessible fluorosulfonyl aziridines. These bifunctional electrophiles merge aziridine ring strain with SuFEx reactivity to provide a modular platform toward aliphatic sulfamoyl fluoride derivatives ...

Turn‐Induction in Peptides Incorporating Novel Cyrene‐Derived α,α‐Disubstituted Amino Acid
Novel chiral cyrene‐derived Cyr residues were incorporated into peptides. The α,α‐disubstituted amino acid residue was introduced using the Ugi reaction. X‐ray crystallographic analysis of R‐ and S‐Cyr residues indicated preference to adopt left‐ and right‐handed α‐helical conformations, respectively.
