Morpholine-4-carboxamidinium ethyl carbonate [PDF]

The asymmetric unit of the title salt, C5H12N3O(+)·C3H5O3(-), contains two carboxamidinium and two ethyl carbonate ions. In the crystal, the C-N bond lengths in the central CN3 units of the cations range between 1.324 (2) and 1.352 (2) Å, indicating partial double-bond character.

Pyrrolidine‐type naphthalene‐2‐acetamide compound 5i inhibits Kelch‐like ECH‐associated protein 1 (Keap1)‐nuclear factor erythroid 2‐related factor 2 (Nrf2) protein–protein interaction by binding to the Keap1‐DC domain; it subsequently activates intracellular Nrf2 and induces Nrf2‐target genes.

Rifamycin analogues with variably functionalized C‐3 extensions provide new insight into the role of this region for MTb inhibitory activity. In addition to potentially optimizing target engagement, this region can also be used to modulate physicochemical properties, an important consideration for optimizing antimycobacterial activity.
