stMixer for Scalable Mosaic Integration and Label Transfer in Spatial Histology and Multi‐Omics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
stMixer is an unsupervised framework for scalable integration and label transfer across spatial histology and multi‐slide multi‐omics data with incomplete modality overlap. It combines self‐looped cross‐attention, multimodal metric learning, and graph‐guided cluster voting to align heterogeneous sections, correct batch effects, and propagate ...

Recurrent 70.8 Mb 4q22.2q32.3 duplication due to ovarian germinal mosaicism.: Duplication 4q and ovarian germinal mosaicism

open access: yes, 2010
International audienceA mosaicism is defined by the presence of two or more populations of cells with different genotypes in one individual. Chromosomal germinal mosaicism occurs in germ cells before the onset of meiosis.

Resistant Peanut Genotype Reprograms Rhizosphere Metabolism to Enhance Bacterial Wilt Suppression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The resistant peanut genotype selectively recruits beneficial bacteria, which coincides with the activation of salicylic acid (SA)‐dependent systemic acquired resistance (SAR) against Ralstonia solanacearum. Keystone rhizosphere metabolites are positively correlated with both beneficial microbiome assembly and SAR gene expression.

A case of trisomy 9 mosaicism syndrome

open access: yes, 2016
Trisomy 9 mosaicism syndrome was first reported by Haslam in 1973 and has been rarely reported. The severity of malformations depends on the percentage of trisomic cells.

From Defense Executor to Engineering Target: Harnessing Lignin for Crop Resistance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lignin serves as both a physical and chemical executor of broad‐spectrum plant immunity. This review systematically summarizes classical and recent advances in lignin‐mediated immunity, outlines the multifaceted regulatory modules controlling lignification under biotic stress, discusses key physiological and biochemical mechanisms behind lignin‐based ...

Genetic, environmental and stochastic factors in monozygotic twin discordance with a focus on epigenetic differences

open access: yes, 2012
Genetic-epidemiological studies on monozygotic (MZ) twins have been used for decades to tease out the relative contributions of genes and the environment to a trait.

Redefining LiF as a Nanostructured Building Block for Interphase Engineering in Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
LiF‐rich solid electrolyte interphases in lithium metal batteries are redefined as controllable nanostructured building blocks rather than homogeneous protective films. This review shows how LiF distribution, grain boundaries, and heterogeneous interfaces govern electron blocking and Li ion transport, and compares fluorinated electrolytes, artificial ...

Assessment of parental mosaicism rates in neurodevelopmental disorders caused by apparent de novo pathogenic variants using deep sequencing

open access: yesScientific Reports
While de novo variants (DNV) are overall at low risk of recurrence in subsequent pregnancies, a subset is at high risk due to parental mosaicism. Accurately identifying cases of parental mosaicism is therefore important for genetic counseling in clinical

Nanomaterials for Allergy Diagnosis and Treatment: Advances, Opportunities and Translational Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nanomaterials offer dual applications in allergy management. For diagnosis, nanomaterials enhance analytical sensitivity and improve detection in specific IgE and functional assays such as the basophil activation test (BAT). For allergen‐specific immunotherapy, nanomaterials enable allergen masking and controlled release, and effectively modulate the ...
