Küçük Hücre Dışı Akciğer Kanserli Hastalarda FDG PET/BT Parametrelerinin Evre Ve Patolojik Veriler İle İlişkisi

open access: yesHitit Medical Journal
Amaç: Akciğer kanserli hastaların pozitron emisyon tomografisi/bilgisayarlı tomografisi (PET/BT) görüntülerinden elde edilen primer lezyonun maksimum standartlaştırılmış alım değeri (SUVmax), SUVmean, metabolik tümör hacmi (MTV) ve total lezyon glikolizi

Combatting the effect of image reconstruction settings on lymphoma [18F]FDG PET metabolic tumor volume assessment using various segmentation methods

open access: yesEJNMMI Research, 2022
Background [18F]FDG PET-based metabolic tumor volume (MTV) is a promising prognostic marker for lymphoma patients. The aim of this study is to assess the sensitivity of several MTV segmentation methods to variations in image reconstruction methods and ...

Risk Prediction Models for Recurrence After Curative Treatment of Early‐Stage or Locally Advanced Lung Cancer: A Systematic Review

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
This systematic review synthesizes prognostic models for survival and recurrence in resected non‐small cell lung cancer. While many models demonstrate moderate to good discrimination, few are externally validated and reporting quality is variable, limiting clinical applicability and highlighting the need for robust, transparent model development ...

Sex-related differences in survival based on [18F]FDG PET/CT metabolic tumor volume after liver transplantation for colorectal liver metastases

open access: yesTransplant International
[18F]FDG PET/CT-derived metabolic tumor volume (MTV) is a strong prognostic biomarker in patients undergoing liver transplantation (LT) for non-resectable colorectal liver metastases (nCRLM).

Higher Complement C4 Gene Copy Number Constitutes a Shared Genetic Risk Factor for Giant Cell Arteritis and IgA Vasculitis

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective Low copy number (CN) of complement C4 isoforms and high CN of retroviral HERV‐K elements are known risk factors for many immune‐mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs), often showing sex‐biased effects. Here, we assessed whether CN variation within the C4 gene contributes to giant cell arteritis (GCA) and IgA vasculitis (IgAV), two complex ...

Prospective assessment using 18F-FDG PET/CT as a novel predictor for early response to PD-1 blockade in non-small-cell lung cancer

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
Anti-programmed death-1 (PD-1) blockade is a standard treatment for advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, no appropriate modality exists for monitoring its therapeutic response immediately after initiation.

Rapid and Reusable Amino Acid–Derived MOFs for the Removal of Estrogenic Hormones From Real Water Matrices

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
A family of amino‐acid–derived MOFs enables ultrafast (>90–95% in 30 s) simultaneous removal of four estrogenic contaminants from water under SPE conditions. A leucine‐based MOF shows excellent regenerability and robustness in real samples, with structural evidence revealing efficient hormone encapsulation.

Differentially expressed genes associated with high metabolic tumor volume served as diagnostic markers and potential therapeutic targets for pancreatic cancer

open access: yesJournal of Translational Medicine
Background The lack of distinct biomarkers for pancreatic cancer is a major cause of early-stage detection difficulty. The pancreatic cancer patient group with high metabolic tumor volume (MTV), one of the values measured from positron emission ...
