Distinct Rb expression pattern in HPV‐associated neuroendocrine carcinomas of the uterine cervix
Histopathology, EarlyView.Most uterine cervical neuroendocrine carcinoma (UCNEC) cases are HPV‐associated and are characterized by partial loss of Rb, p16 overexpression, and cyclin D1 negativity. A minority of UCNECs exhibit a distinct pattern, characterized by HPV negativity, retained Rb expression, focal p16 expression and cyclin D1 positivity.

Histopathology, EarlyView.In this population‐based cohort of 3505 patients with colorectal cancer without distant metastases at diagnosis, tumour deposits are independently associated with an increased risk of distant metastases (HR 1.34, 95% CI 1.03–1.74). This finding supports consideration of tumour deposits in future risk stratification strategies.
