Multi-objective genetic programming with partial sampling and its extension to many-objective [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper describes a technique on an optimization of tree-structure data by of multi-objective evolutionary algorithm, or multi-objective genetic programming. GP induces bloat of the tree structure as one of the major problem.

A pythagorean hesitant fuzzy programming approach and its application to multi objective reliability optimization problem [PDF]

open access: yesYugoslav Journal of Operations Research
Decision-making problems can often be effectively solved using traditional optimization methods that have a clearly defined configuration. However, in real-world scenarios, decision-makers frequently encounter doubt or hesitation, making it challenging ...

A Synthesizing Effect-Based Solution Method for Stochastic Rough Multi-objective Programming Problems [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, 2014
Multi-objective programming with uncertain information has been widely applied in modeling of industrial produce and logistic distribution problems. Usually the expectation value model and chance-constrained model as solution models are used to deal with

Multi-Objective region-Aware optimization of parallel programs [PDF]

open access: yesParallel Computing, 2019
Auto-tuning has become increasingly popular for optimizing non-functional parameters of parallel programs. The typically large search space requires sophisticated techniques to find well-performing parameter values in a reasonable amount of time. Different parts of a program often perform best with different parameter values.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Resolution of the linear fractional goal programming problem

open access: yesRect@, 2010
This work deals with the resolution of the goal programming problem with linear fraccional criteria. The main difficulty of these problems is the non-linear constraints of the mathematical programming models that have to be solved.

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Comparison of different Multiple-criteria decision analysis methods in the context of conceptual design: application to the development of a solar collector structure [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
At each stage of the product development process, the designers are facing an important task which consists of decision making. Two cases are observed: the problem of concept selection in conceptual design phases and, the problem of pre-dimensioning once

Multi‐objective interval type‐2 fuzzy linear programming problem with vagueness in coefficient

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology
One of the most widely used fuzzy linear programming models is the multi‐objective interval type‐2 fuzzy linear programming (IT2FLP) model, which is of particular importance due to the simultaneous integration of multiple criteria and objectives in a ...

A Two-Stage Multi-objective Programming Model to Improve the Reliability of Solution

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, 2020
Randomness is a common uncertainty encountered in practical multi-objectives decision-making. But it is always a challenge for decision-makers to process randomness in multi-objective programming problems.
